    El presente artículo de investigación pretende ser un aporte a la discusión sobre el pensamiento crítico, sobre sus bordes y pliegues, potencialidades y limitaciones. Para ello retoma, mediante una metodología cualitativa, dos formas que se caracterizarán como pensamientos-otros y las contrasta con las formas académicas usuales del pensar crítico, que se suele teorizar y dinamizar en ámbitos universitarios y sus lugares de influencia. El objetivo es reflexionar sobre por qué de dicho pensamiento crítico se encuentra presente en la obra de Fausto Reinaga y Manuel Quintín Lame y cómo se podría plantear la búsqueda de nuevos tropos o lugares de enunciación aprovechando la riqueza del pensar del “amauta” y del “indio que se educó dentro de las selvas”.

    The present research article intends to be a contribution to the discussion about Critical Thinking, about its edges and folds, potentialities and limitations. For this, it takes with a qualitative methodology two forms thatwill be characterized as thoughts-others and contrasts them with the usual academic forms of critical thinking, which is usually theorized and revitalized in university environments and their places of influence. In a second moment I reflect on what of said critical thinking is present in the work of Fausto Reinaga and Manuel Quintín Lame and how we could consider the search for new tropes or places of enunciation taking advantage of the wealth of thinking of the “amauta” and the “ Indian who was educated in the jungles”.
