    El presente artículo representa un esfuerzo por comprender la naturaleza de las normas internacionales, sobre todo las normas jurídicas del Derecho Internacional, desde una perspectiva más integral, con la intención de enriquecer nuestro entendimiento sobre las mismas y empezar a caminar hacia los nuevos horizontes que nos ofrece la realidad actual globalizada e “hiperconectada”. Por ello, se abordan los diferentes matices que presentan las normas internacionales, para dimensionarlas en su justa medida y enfrentar los retos que se les presentan para convertirse en instrumentos efectivos de regulación en el orden internacional.

    This article depicts an effort to understand the nature of international norms, especially those from International Law, from a more comprehensive perspective, in order to enrich our understanding of these norms and lead ourselves to encounter the new horizons the current globalized and highly connected reality has to offer. Thus, in this article I address the nuances of International Law/international norms, to appreciate them properly and justly, and face the challenges they may show to become effective instruments of regulation at international level.
