Resumen de “Se imprima para com facilidade se aprender”: circulação, conhecimento e normatização da língua Kiriri nos sertões da América Portuguesa na segunda metade da centúria seiscentistas

In the present work, we analyze two linguistic instruments elaborated in the second half of the 17th century that aimed to standardize the Kiriri language, the Catechism of the Christian Doctrine and the Art of Grammatica of the Language, written by Father Mamiani and used in the villages of Mirandela, Saco dos Morcegos, Natuba and Geru. Through these forms, we aim to present and discuss the conversion strategies employed by the missionaries who worked with the Kiriri, as well as the process of cultural translation that the Catechism and Grammar show. In addition, highlight the author's dialogue with other works that are referenced in his writings in an attempt to understand the circulation of knowledge in the sertões of Portuguese America.

No presente trabalho, analisamos dois instrumentos linguísticos elaborados na segunda metade do século XVII que visaram normatizar a língua Kiriri, o Catecismo da Doutrina Christãa e a Arte de Grammatica da Lingua, escritas pelo padre Mamiani e utilizadas nas aldeias de Mirandela, Saco dos Morcegos, Natuba e Geru. Por meio desses impressos temos como objetivo de apresentar e de discutir as estratégias de conversão empregadas pelos missionários que atuaram junto aos Kiriri, bem como o processo de tradução cultural que o Catecismo e a Gramática evidenciam. Além disso, evidenciar o diálogo do autor com outras obras que são referenciadas nos seus escritos na tentativa de compreender a circulação de conhecimento nos sertões da América portuguesa.
