    . En el presente trabajo, se proponen a la fotografía y a los textos escritos en una autobiografía de una mujer como opciones para evidenciar y para profundizar la situación femenina en el Norte de México la primera parte del siglo XX. Al respecto, se observa que tal situación es de subordinación femenina con respecto a la figura masculina como resultado de las prácticas sociales de esa época. Se elige como corpus de estudio elementos que están en el texto Pancho Villa en la intimidad (1948) de la norteña Luz Corral, la primera de las esposas del general revolucionario. Para el análisis, se utilizarán conceptos de semiótica propuestos por Roland Barthes en su investigación La camara lúcida. Nota sobre la fotografía, que se relacionarán con lo que desarrollan sobre la historia de las mujeres Cano (2010), Nash y Tavera (1995),  entre otros; así como, lo que explica Michel Foucault (2002) y Sheila Benhabib

    In the following study we propose that picture and writtings in a woman autobiographyis an option to prove and to study about women situation in the North of Mexico the first half of the twentieth century. We observe that the situation is of subordination as a result of the social practices of that period. In order to do this, we select elements found at the text Pancho Villa en la intimidad (1948) of the northern Luz Corral, who is the first of the Pancho Villa´s wives. We will use Roland Barthes concepts that can be found at at his investigation Camera Lucida: Reflections on Photography, that will be relate with what Cano (2010), Nash y Tavera (1995) among others thatdeveloped investigations about women history as well, we will also use what Michel Foucault (2002) and Sheila Benhabib sugest.
