The descriptive statistical analysis of the vaccination process in Ecuador during 2021 and 2022 examines the relationship between age groups, types of vaccines, and the epidemiological database of COVID-19. Through R programming, we seek to understand the relationship between vaccinated individuals and their level of risk, evaluating how different age groups responded to different types of vaccines. The study uses descriptive techniques to highlight patterns and trends. The data, segmented by age groups and types of vaccines, make it possible to identify the distribution of vaccination among different ages and vaccine preferences.
Programming in R makes it easy to manipulate and analyze data, generating descriptive statistics such as averages, standard deviations, and graphs. The analysis seeks to determine if there are correlations between the risk group of the individuals and the type of vaccine administered, which could influence the effectiveness of the vaccination and the immunization strategy. By using R scripts, the analysis and visualization process is automated, allowing a more efficient and reproducible interpretation of the results.
