  El presente artículo tiene como objetivo; Analizar la interculturalidad en la provincia de Esmeraldas a través de una asociación feminista vinculada a la Iglesia, sujetándose en la teología de la liberación y con ello esta entidad promueve compartir las riquezas culturales existentes en las diversas etnias, tanto en la afrodescendiente y la chachi, manteniendo una lucha constante para surgir con empoderamiento y accionar en forma mancomunada con los diversos tipos de emprendimientos ante una sociedad marginadora. Desde este contexto, se evidenció una alta discriminación, marginación por parte de religiosos y de la sociedad, y muchas de las mujeres sufren maltrato psicológico, físico y verbal, con esto intentan enmudecer el derecho de la equidad de género que posee toda persona sin importar cualquier estrato social. En este escenario analítico, el presente trabajo investigativo utilizó los método analítico – sintético, deductivo – inductivo y descriptivo- explorativo, los cuales permitieron establecer reglas y obtener resultados a través del proceso que lo caracteriza; desde otra perspectiva, los resultados se evidenció flagrante marginación y violencia de género en las etnias chachi y afro esmeraldeñas. Finalmente se pudo enunciar una de las conclusiones principales de esta investigación; reflejando que las mujeres de estas asociaciones mantienen dificultades para llegar acuerdos con las autoridades, gremios y/o por cuanto muchos de ellos poseen divergencias y resistencias para promover y fortalecer la interculturalidad entre las etnias de la comunidad esmeraldeña.

  The present article has as objective; Analyze the interculturality in the province of Esmeraldas through a feminist association linked to the Church, subjecting itself to the theology of liberation and with it this entity promotes sharing the cultural riches existing in the different ethnic groups: both in afrodescendant and chachi, maintaining a constant struggle to emerge with empowerment and act jointly with the various types of enterprises before a marginalizing society. From this context, there was evidence of high discrimination, marginalization on the part of religious and society, and many of the women suffer psychological, physical and verbal abuse, with this they try to silence the right of gender equality that every person has regardless of any social stratum In this analytical scenario, the present investigative work used the analytical - synthetic, deductive - inductive and descriptive - explorative method, which allowed establishing rules and obtaining results through the process that characterizes it; from another perspective, the results showed flagrant marginalization and gender violence in the Chachi and Afro-Esmeraldas ethnic groups. Finally, one of the main conclusions of this investigation could be enunciated; reflecting that the women of these associations maintain difficulties to reach agreements with the authorities, unions and / or because many of them have divergences and resistance to promote and strengthen the interculturality among the ethnic groups of the Esmeralda community.
