Resumen de El sendero interpretativo, una estrategia pedagógica para el aprovechamiento turístico

  La presente investigación propone: diseñar un sendero interpretativo como estrategia pedagógica para fomentar el aprovechamiento turístico de los recursos del instituto Luis Alfredo Martínez en el cantón Ambato, provincia de Tungurahua; el desarrollo del diseño del sendero fue fundamentalmente teórico, de tipo no experimental, que se llevó a cabo usando técnicas de revisión bibliográfica y de campo a un nivel exploratorio, descriptivo, analítico y prospectivo. La institución Luis Alfredo Martínez cuenta con 14 hectáreas de extensión con espacios verdes ornamentales, forestales y agrícolas con cultivos de ciclo corto, largo y pastos para las especies menores, donde no todas las áreas de la institución han sido aprovechados en los últimos 10 años, por tal motivo el GAD Municipal de Ambato desea expropiar 8 hectáreas para la creación de un parque ornamental. Es así que surge la necesidad del diseño de un sendero y dar un uso sostenible a las hectáreas abandonadas dentro de la propiedad. El sector donde se encuentra ubicada la institución es propicio para el desarrollo del turismo y la provincia genera ingresos económicos con un incremento anual del 6%. Mediante la entrevista realizada a los estudiantes de las principales unidades educativas de la ciudad de Ambato se determinó que es viable crear un sendero turístico con la finalidad de aprovechar los recursos existentes y satisfacer la demanda insatisfecha, captando una demanda objetiva de 1076 visitantes para el año 2019. Se concluye que la creación del sendero interpretativo contribuirá al total aprovechamiento del patrimonio natural que posee la institución y contribuirá a desarrollar el turismo, así como el progreso pedagógico de los estudiantes.

  The present investigation proposes: to design an interpretative path as a pedagogical strategy to promote the tourist use of the resources of the Luis Alfredo Martínez Institute in the canton of Ambato, province of Tungurahua; The development of the trail design was fundamentally theoretical, of a non-experimental nature, which was carried out using bibliographic and field review techniques at an exploratory, descriptive, analytical and prospective level. The Luis Alfredo Martínez institution has 14 hectares of extension with ornamental, forestry and agricultural green spaces with crops of short, long cycle and pastures for the smaller species, where not all the areas of the institution have been used in the last 10 years, for this reason the Municipal GAD of Ambato wants to expropriate 8 hectares for the creation of an ornamental park. Thus, the need arises for the design of a path and to give a sustainable use to the abandoned hectares within the property. The sector where the institution is located is conducive to the development of tourism and the province generates economic income with an annual increase of 6%. Through an interview with the students of the main educational units of the city of Ambato, it was determined that it is feasible to create a tourist trail in order to take advantage of the existing resources and satisfy the unmet demand, capturing an objective demand of 1076 visitors for the year. 2019. It is concluded that the creation of the interpretative path will contribute to the total use of the natural heritage that the institution possesses and will contribute to the development of tourism, as well as the pedagogical progress of the students.
