En este artículo, procederemos a examinar el concepto de agencement en El anti-Edipo. Probamos que su uso inicial se registra, efectivamente, en el primer tomo de Capitalismo y esquizofrenia. Analizamos las nueve apariciones del concepto en dicho marco y demostramos que se halla, al menos en principio, estrechamente ligado al concepto de máquina (deseante). A la vez, sentamos la hipótesis de que este último no es sustituido por el primero (equívoco suscitado por el propio Deleuze) sino que, tras haber coexistido ambos, agencement habría resultado más eficiente como pilar teórico de una teoría general de las máquinas

In this paper, we will proceed to examine the concept of agencement in The Anti-Oedipus. We prove that the original use of it occurs, indeed, in the first volume of Capitalism and schizophrenia. We analyze the nine appearances of the concept in that context, and we demonstrate that it finds itself, at least in the beginning, closely tied to the concept of (desiring) machine. At the same time, we establish the hypothesis that the latter isn't replaced by the former (a misunderstanding which was provoked by Deleuze himself) but –after having coexisted both– agencement would have rather been more efficient as the theoretical backbone of a general theory of machines
