    Resumen: La idea rectora del presente trabajo es la de descifrar el rol del Estado chileno en los dos primeros gobiernos de la Concertación en Chile. Se procederá a analizar las determinaciones generales del proceso de acumulación de capital y el rol del Estado en dicho proceso durante los noventas, cuya síntesis crea una matriz productiva específica. Metodológicamente se procederá a examinar series de indicadores macroeconómicos utilizando variables recomendadas por la teoría empleada. Se concluye detallando el contenido económico de la acción política del Estado.

    Abstract: The guiding idea of the present study is that of deciphering the role of the Chilean State during the first two governments of the Concertación in Chile. This will be done by analyzing the general determinations of the process of capital accumulation and the role of the State in said process during the nineties, whose synthesis creates a specific productive structure. Methodologically it will proceed by examining series of macroeconomic indicators utilizing the recommended variables of the theory in use. It concludes by explaining the economic content of the political action of the State.
