Resumen de The ‘commons’ as a new value in adult learning

Elzbieta Sanojca, Michel Briand

  • This article studies the learning collectives that spontaneously emerged in response to the Covid health crisis. Thefirst findings highlighted the affirmation of the value of collectively produced resources (i.e. knowledge) as ‘commons’ inOstrom's definition. Based on Engeström's activity theory, this paper traces the process of forming a new concept ('commons')and provides another way of looking at the evaluation of training. Indeed, this new way of considering the value of knowledgeseems to reflect a form of awareness on the part of adult learners who seek to make meaning of their professional activitiesconsistent with their concerns about societal issues.
