Dos grunhidos da tortura aos ecos da resistência na poesia de Pedro Tierra

    This work aims to analyze, in Pedro Tierra's poetic work, the impacts of torture and hardships intentionally caused by the military, in addition to fostering understanding of the libertarian movements coined in the writing of poetry in the context of prison -specifically from reading from Poems of the Night People (1979). This article, therefore, covers the etymological and judicial trajectory of the word torture and its historical construction as a mechanism for manipulating and controlling the structuring bodies of society, both the properly human framework and state representation, as symbolic sovereignty. To this end, an analysis of the poem “Açoite” will be carried out, in order to highlight the processes of linguistic elaboration, based on structural resources of poetics, in the social panorama of authoritarianism. It is thus observed that the desirous traits of the yearning for freedom arranged in verses reveal the internal psychological motivation of the lyrical self to overcome the violence imposed by the military. As a theoretical-referential basis for the work, the contributions of authors such as Jaime Ginzburg, Maria Rita Kehl and Márcio Seligmann-Silva will be discussed.

    Este trabalho tem por objetivo analisar, na obra poética de Pedro Tierra, os impactos da tortura e das agruras provocadas intencionalmente pelos militares, além de fomentar a compreensão sobre os movimentos libertários cunhados na escrita de poesia no contexto do cárcere – especificamente a partir da leitura de Poemas do Povo da Noite (1979). O presente artigo, portanto, percorre o trajeto etimológico e judiciário do vocábulo tortura e a sua edificação histórica enquanto mecanismo de manipulação e controle dos corpos estruturantes da sociedade, tanto o arcabouço propriamente humano quanto a representação estatal, como soberania simbólica. Para isso, será realizada a análise do poema “Açoite”, de maneira a pôr em evidência os processos de elaboração linguística, a partir de recursos estruturais da poética, no panorama social do autoritarismo. Observa-se, assim, que os traços desejosos de anseio pela liberdade dispostos em versos revelam a interna motivação psicológica do eu-lírico pela ultrapassagem da violência imposta pelos militares. Como embasamento teórico-referencial do trabalho, serão discutidas as contribuições de autores como Jaime Ginzburg, Maria Rita Kehl e Márcio Seligmann-Silva.
