Resumen de El Departamento de Orientación Educativa: una propuesta de intervención

En este trabajo se presenta una propuesta de intervención orientadora destinada a los estudiantes del último año de la escuela secundaria del Colegio Nacional “Rafael Hernández” de la Universidad Nacional de La Plata, propuesta cuyo objetivo será trabajar en el acercamiento a la información educativa/académica. El Colegio Nacional sostiene un régimen preuniversitario con el propósito de dar una respuesta estructural al problema de la articulación entre los niveles medio y superior. Estas instancias de articulación con las diferentes facultades permiten consolidar un sistema de elección a partir de quinto año, acercando a los estudiantes a las materias y contenidos de las asignaturas de los primeros años de las distintas carreras que ofrece nuestra universidad. En este sentido, se han buscado diferentes formas de estimular el acercamiento de los alumnos del último año de este colegio a las distintas unidades académicas. La articulación académica entre la Universidad y la escuela secundaria se constituye en una herramienta fundamental dado que permite generar espacios orientados a definir, implementar y evaluar actividades que atiendan el tránsito entre niveles educativos. La propuesta que aquí se presenta será implementada por el Departamento de Orientación Educativa de la institución con el propósito de generar un espacio de índole promocional y preventiva con los estudiantes, trabajando en el conocimiento de la información educativa/académica, así como en el reconocimiento de la importancia de la misma en la toma de decisiones sobre sus proyectos a futuro.

This paper presents a proposal for a guiding intervention for students in the last year of high school at Colegio Nacional Rafael Hernández, belonging to Universidad Nacional de La Plata, proposal whose objective is to work on the approach to educational /academic information. The Colegio Nacional maintains a pre-university regime with the purpose of giving a structural response to the problem of the articulation between the middle and higher levels. These instances of articulation with the different academic units make it possible to consolidate an election system from the fifth year, bringing students closer to the subjects and contents of the subjects of the first years of the different careers offered by our university. In this sense, different ways have been sought to stimulate the approach of the students of the last year of the College to the different academic units. The academic articulation between the University and the secondary school constitutes a fundamental tool since it allows to generate spaces oriented to define, implement and evaluate activities that attend the transit between educational levels.The proposal presented here will be implemented by the Educational Guidance Department of the institution with the purpose of generating a space of a promotional and preventive nature with the students, working on the knowledge of educational/academic information, as well as in the recognition of its importance in making decisions about their future projects.
