  La hemorragia suprarrenal aguda suele estar asociada con una patología subyacente, la cual podría ser benigna o maligna, funcional o no funcional. Esta hemorragia, asociada a tratamiento con rivaroxabán es rara --únicamente se han reportado 113 casos en Europa--. Igualmente existen tratamientos que pueden inferir mayor riesgo a padecerla. Las pruebas de imagen como la TC son de elección para su diagnóstico y exclusión de otras posibles causas. En cuanto al tratamiento, se prefiere el manejo conservador inicial ya que permite la determinación del estado funcional y la cirugía electiva, si es necesario.

  Acute adrenal hemorrhage is usually associated with an underlying pathology, which could be benign or malignant, functional or non-functional. This hemorrhage, associated with a rivaroxabán treatmet, is rare, since only 113 cases of adrenal bleeding have been reported in patients receiving treatment with this drug. There are also treatments that could infer a greater risk of suffering from it. Imaging tests such as CT are the choice for diagnosis and exclusion of other possible causes. Regarding treatment, initial conservative management is preferred as it allows determination of functional status and elective surgery, if necessary.
