Resumen de El conjunto de miliarios de la milla VI del Iter ab Emerita Astvricam (Casa de Campo, Mérida, Badajoz): revisión y nuevos datos

En la milla VI de la comúnmente llamada Vía de la Plata, al norte del término municipal de Mérida, se encuentra el primer conjunto cuantitativamente significativo de miliarios de esta calzada romana. Uno de los miliarios de este conjunto es conocido desde hace siglos (CIL II 4644), si bien el resto de piezas que integran esta colección apenas han sido objeto de atención en anteriores estudios sobre la epigrafía viaria de este iter. En estas páginas se ofrece, tras un repaso por su centenaria tradición manuscrita y bibliográfica, un análisis acerca de la realidad actual del miliario CIL II 4644. Además, por vez primera, presentamos un estudio completo del resto de fragmentos que integran este conjunto. De este modo, analizaremos de forma global el que conforma el primer nido de miliarios del iter ab Emerita Asturicam, planteando asimismo algunas cuestiones sobre el número real de piezas que lo constituyó o sobre su posible cronología.

At 6th mile of the commonly called Vía de la Plata, in the north of the municipal boundary of Mérida, there is the first quantitatively significant group of milestones on this Roman road. One of this milestones has been known for centuries (CIL II 4644), but the rest of the pieces that are part of this collection have hardly been objects of attention in previous studies of the road epigraphy of this iter. In these pages, after a review of its centenarian manuscript and bibliographic tradition, we offer an analysis of the current reality of the milestone CIL II 4644. In addition, for the first time, we present a complete study about the rest of the fragments in this group. That way, we will analyze globally the first nest of milestones in the iter ab Emerita Asturicam, raising as well some questions about the real number of pieces that constituted it or about its possible chronology.
