Resumen de El cuerpo de la mujer como texto (código de guerra) en “Corte de chaleco” de Lizandro Chávez Alfaro

En esta investigación se revisa el cuento “Corte de chaleco” del escritor, poeta y ensayista nicaragüense Lizandro Chávez Alfaro, con el objetivo de analizar de qué forma la violencia ejercida so-bre el cuerpo de la mujer se transforma en un código de guerra en el contexto de la colonización moderna de Estados Unidos sobre Nicaragua. Utilizando como respaldo teórico el horizon-te histórico-político de Fredric Jameson y el concepto “pedago-gía de la crueldad” propuesto por Rita Laura Segato, se sostiene como hipótesis del estudio que el tipo de asesinato representa-do en el cuento simboliza la objetivación del cuerpo de la mujer como texto (código de guerra) que reproduce un sistema de vio-lencia entre colonizadores y colonizados.

n this research the short story “Corte de chaleco” by the Nica-raguan writer, poet and essayist Lizandro Chávez Alfaro is re-viewed, with the aim of analyzing how the violence exerted on the woman’s body becomes a code of war in the context of the modern colonization of the United States on Nicaragua. Using Fredric Jameson’s political-historical horizon as theoretical sup-port and the concept of “pedagogy of cruelty” proposed by Rita Laura Segato, the hypothesis of the study is that the type of murder represented in the story symbolizes the objectification of the body of the woman as text (code of war) that reproduces a system of violence between colonizers and colonized.
