La mala muerte: consideraciones sobre la muerte violenta en el contexto del conflicto armado colombiano desde la filosofía andina

    Este artículo estudia la muerte en el contexto de un conflicto armado. Por esta razón, trata especialmente de la muerte violenta, llamada por los pueblos originarios andinos mala muerte. Los objetivos son: explicar la noción de red vital según el principio de relacionalidad de la filosofía andina y develar las implicaciones que tiene la mala muerte en dicha red vital, a saber, en la relación que tiene el individuo con la comunidad y el territorio. Mediante estas reflexiones la muerte violenta puede ser considerada como inhumana y mala, porque rompe con la armonía de la red vital. Esta ruptura se inicia con una banalización de la muerte, lo que se traduce en negación de la dignidad humana; continúa con una banalización de la relación con el otro, lo que propaga el irrespeto; y, finalmente, se banaliza la relación con el medioambiente a través del rechazo al mutuo sostenimiento en el territorio. Estas consideraciones están sustentadas en estudios de corte filosófico sobre la muerte en el conflicto armado colombiano y en testimonios de víctimas.

    This paper studies death in the context of an armed confl ict. For this rea-son, it deals especially with violent death, called by the indigenous peoples as “bad death.” Th e main objectives are to explain the notion of “vital network” according to the relationality of the Andean philosophy and to reveal the implications that the bad death has in said vital network, i.e., in the relationship that the individual has with the com-munity and the territory. It was found that the bad death can be considered as inhuman and evil because it breaks with the harmony of the vital network. Th is rupture begins with a trivialization of death, which translates into negation of human dignity; it con-tinues with a trivialization of the relationship with the other, which spreads disrespect; and, fi nally, the relationship with the environment is trivialized through the rejection of mutual support in the territory. These philosophical considerations are based mainly on testimonies from victims of the Colombian armed conflict and on philosophical studies on death in this context
