  En el siguiente artículo, se presenta una mirada de corte histórica referida a la construcción discursiva y política del transitar de personas, organizaciones e ideas que han ido articulándose y conformando el llamado pensamiento Mapuche en Chile. Todo lo anterior de cara a una propuesta autonomista y de autodeterminación mapuche en contextos de estado-nacional monocultural chileno. A partir del método histórico y la confrontación de fuentes, esta propuesta se erige teóricamente desde el debate referido al colonialismo, la subalternidad y la descolonización en América Latina y el Caribe.

  In the following article, a historical perspective is presented regarding the discursive and political construction of the movement of people, organizations, and ideas that have shaped and formed the so-called Mapuche thought in Chile. All of this is done in the context of an autonomist and self-determination proposal for the Mapuche people within the framework of Chile's monocultural nation-state. Utilizing the historical method and source confrontation, this proposal is theoretically grounded in the debates surrounding colonialism, subalternity, and decolonization in Latin America and the Caribbean
