Se analiza el principio de igualdad como fundamento de los derechos humanos partiendo de la premisa de que la igualdad es el nervio motor del ejercicio efectivo de los derechos humanos; se examinan las resoluciones jurisdiccionales de tres casos de violación a derechos humanos en los que se tutelan los derechos a la educación, la salud y el acceso al agua y saneamiento, concluyendo que es fundamental atender al principio de igualdad para poner en acción la plena protección de los derechos humanos.
This article analyzes the principle of equality as the foundation of human rights. Starting from the premise that equality is the motor nerve of the effective exercise of human rights. The jurisdictional resolutions of three cases of violation of human rights in which the rights to education, health and access to water and water are protected sanitation, concluding that it is essential to attend to the principle of equality to put into action the full protection of human rights.
