Resumen de Centro Universitario de Cine Experimental de la Universidad de Chile: antecedente del Nuevo Cine Chileno de los años sesenta

El presente artículo analiza el surgimiento del Centro Universitario de Cine Experimental de la Universidad de Chile; el análisis se realizó considerando documentos de diferentes autores académicos. el resultado permite observar la evolución productiva de este Centro Universitario, y además la importancia que tuvo en el surgimiento del Nuevo Cine Chileno, que se caracterizó por su propuesta estética y argumental en favor de causas sociales.

This article analyzes the emergence of the University Center for Experimetnal Cinema at the University of chile; the analysis was carried out considering documents from diferente academic authors. the resul allows us to observe, on the one hand, the productive evolutión of the University Center for Experimetnal Cinema of the University of Chile and, on the other hand, the importance it had in the emergence of the generation of New Chhilean Cineama, which was caracterized by its proposal aesthetic and argumetnative in favor of social causes.
