    A partir de diez libros ensayístico, autobiográficos y/o ficticios de Remedios Zafra publicados entre 2005 y 2021, se estudia la función de la metáfora reversible de la máscara, la nebulosa de conceptos que la rodean o preceden (como el de “avatar”) y la intensificación de su uso en sus últimas obras. Desde el ciberfeminismo, Zafra propone pensar los juegos antiautoritarios de una identidad a menudo oculta detrás de pantallas, artefactos electrónicos y personajes-máscaras, como dando cuenta de un yo proteiforme, vulnerable y viajero. Lo hace sin embargo desde un materialismo encarnado, el rechazo a la imposición del orden neoliberal en un sector cultural precarizado y desde la conciencia de que nuestras vísceras y flujos nos determinan tanto como la cara sonriente que las mujeres deben presentar al mundo. Se analiza también como al quitarse y quitar al otro la máscara, autorizándose y desautorizando a los que detienen el poder, la autora abre la puerta a una poética de la obscenidad, de los afectos y de la sororidad en el campo literario para inaugurar un nuevo régimen de representación intelectual.

    Based on ten essayistic, autobiographical and/or fictional books by Remedios Zafra published between 2005 and 2021, we study the function of the reversible metaphor of the mask, the nebula of concepts that surround or precede it (such as the “avatar ”) and the intensification of its use in her latest works. From cyberfeminism, Zafra proposes to think about the anti -authoritarian games about an ident ity often hidden behind screens, electronic artefacts and mask - characters. She shows how they account for a proteiform, vulnerable and travelling self, but from an embodied materialism, the rejection of the imposition of the neoliberal order in a precarious cultural sector and from the awareness that our viscera and flows determine us as much as the smiling face that women have to present to the world. It also analyses how, by removing herself and the other from the mask, authorising and disavowing those who hold power, the author opens the door to a poetics of obscenity, of affection and of sisterhood in the literary field in order to inaugurate a new regime of intellectual representation .
