"Difícil sostenerse para siempre en el llanto": análisis comparativo de la obra pictórica "El Descendimiento" de Rogier van der Weyden y el poemario "Descendimiento" de Ada Salas

    Este trabajo pretende establecer las relaciones existentes entre el poemario Descendimiento (2018) de la poeta española Ada Salas con el cuadro El Descendimiento (antes de 1443) del pintor flamenco Rogier van der Weyden. Se propone mostrar la manera en que algunos elementos formales del cuadro se reflejan en el poemario y señalar los motivos propios de la tradición judeocristiana que son recogidos y resignificados en el diálogo que establece Salas con la obra de Van der Weyden. Al mismo tiempo, se pondrán en relación algunos aspectos del poemario Descendimiento con la búsqueda artística y espiritual de su autora en el marco de la llamada «poesía del silencio». Para ello, se comenzará contextualizando y analizando el cuadro del flamenco y, a continuación, se mostrará el recorrido que traza el poemario en su acercamiento al mismo.

    This essay aims to establish the existing connections between the collection of poems Descendimiento (2018), by the Spanish poet Ada Salas, and the painting The Descent from the Cross (before 1443), by the Flemish painter Rogier van der Weyden. The purpose is to show the way in which some of the formal elements of the painting are reflected in the poems and to point out the motifs of the Judeo-Christian tradition that are collected and given a new meaning in the artistic dialogue that Salas establishes with the work of Van der Weyden. At the same time, some of the aspects of Descendimiento will be linked to the spiritual and artistic pursuit that began the so called «poesía del silencio». For that purpose, this essay will begin by contextualizing and analyzing the painting to then show how the collection of poems is structured in its approach to it
