    En el presente trabajo se realiza un análisis sistemático de los testamentos otorgados por los componentes del alto clero urbano hispalense en la primera mitad del siglo XIX. Así, tras un tratamiento cuantitativo de los datos extraídos se procede a un análisis cualitativo de los mismos. De esta manera, se podrá comprender adecuadamente las distintas particularidades de los diferentes apartados que componen sus testamentos, permitiendo conocer mejor un aspecto tan importante como la preparación para la muerte dentro de este grupo social tan definido como son los miembros del cabildo catedral de Sevilla en dicho periodo de estudio.

    This work presents a systematic analysis of the wills granted by the components of the Sevillian higher clergy in the first half of the 19th century. Thus, after a quantitative treatment of the extracted data, a qualitative analysis is carried out. In this way, it will be possible to adequately understand the different particularities of the different sections that form their wills. This alllow us a better comprehension of such important aspects as the preparation for death within this defined social group, as the members of the Cathedral Chapter of Seville.
