Resumen de Delimitación conceptual y consideraciones en torno al turismo industrial minero

  En los últimos años estamos asistiendo a un cambio en el comportamiento de los turistas, caracterizado por nuevas formas de concebir el tiempo libre, de revalorizar lugares menos masificados y especiales. Esto provoca que la oferta turística esté creando nuevos productos para dar respuesta a los actuales gustos del consumidor, que cuenta con unos mayores niveles culturales y educativos. Dentro de las nuevas modalidades de turismo, se encuentra el turismo industrial minero vinculado a esta actividad extractiva que ha dejado una singular herencia histórica y una identidad cultural propia. En este trabajo delimitamos conceptualmente este tipo de turismo dentro del turismo cultural y analizamos las principales fortalezas y debilidades que conciernen al mismo desarrollando una matriz DAFO.

  In the last years we are seeing a change in the tourists behaviour, characterized by new thinking about free time, revalue most special places and less crowed. This causes the tourism supply is creating new products to respond the new consumer needs. This consumer have higher educational and cultural levels. Within the new forms of tourism is the mining tourism linked to the mining and quarrying activity which has left a unique historical heritage and cultural identity. In this paper conceptually delineate this type of cultural tourism and analyze the strengths and weaknesses that relate to it developing a SWOT matrix.
