  • This paper records and describes a total of 19 species of Calyptoblastic Hydrozoa, belonging to the family Sertulariidae Hincks, 1868, recollected from three stations of the Mediterranean and Cantabrian Spanish coasts.

    Two of these species are new to science. In addition there are 11 new records to the coasts of Spain.

    Besides the description an record, it is made a morphometric study of each species for purpose of comparison with others. Thus, some species are sunk in the synonymy of others.
