Resumen de Estado, patrimonio y hoteles modernos: Los inicios de las políticas públicas hoteleras en el Perú (1916-1930)

Se analiza la implementación de las primeras medidas de fomento, del Estado peruano, para la hotelería desde la óptica del interés por los lugares naturales y las necesidades de hospedaje de la ciudad de Lima a inicios del siglo XX. Se presentan los resultados concretos de dichas medidas, sus características, así como el surgimiento de los primeros hoteles considerados modernos. Con ello, se pretende contribuir a un mayor entendimiento del nacimiento de este tipo de hospedajes en los países de América Latina, las problemáticas inherentes y sus condiciones de desarrollo.

The implementation of the first promotional measures by the Peruvian government for the hotel industry isanalyzed from the perspective of the interest in natural locations and the lodging needs of the city of Lima inthe early 20th century.
