Resumen de Atractivos turísticos de Ocaña y su región

  Tomando como referencia el estudio de la Capacidad Turística de Ocaña y su Región, se recurre a la información recolectada sobre los atractivos turísticos de Ocaña, La Playa de Belén, El Carmen y Ábrego en el Norte de Santander, como uno de los elementos que hacen parte de los recursos que permiten desarrollar la actividad turística, que dinamiza el desarrollo socioeconómico regional.

  Para ello, se visitó cada uno de las poblaciones objeto de estudio donde se identificaron los atractivos turísticos con los que se cuenta, muchos de ellos declarados Bienes de Interés Cultural de Carácter Nacional, Departamental y Municipal; evidenciándose que Ocaña y su región posee un gran potencial turístico que permitiría  ofertarse como un destino de clase mundial, pero para ello se requiere del apoyo e inversión tanto del sector público como del sector privado y el apoyo de instituciones educativas en la formación del recurso humano necesario que garantice un excelente servicio.

  Based on the study of the Tourist Capacity of Ocaña and its Region, the information collected on the tourist attractions of Ocaña, La Playa de Belén, El Carmen and Ábrego in Norte de Santander is used as one of the elements that are part of the resources that allow the development of tourist activity, which boosts regional socioeconomic development.

  For this purpose, each of the towns under study was visited, where the tourist attractions were identified, many of them declared National, Departmental and Municipal Assets of Cultural Interest; evidencing that Ocaña and its region have a great tourist potential that would allow it to offer itself as a world class destination, but for this it requires the support and investment of both the public and private sectors and the support of educational institutions in the training of the necessary human resources to guarantee an excellent service.
