    En este artículo examino desafíos y dificultades para escribir y teorizar en Latinoamérica, que resultan del anclaje a modelos de tipo ideal de hacerantropología y serantropólogos. Para desarrollar el tema enfatizo la desconexión actual entre el ejercicio profesional, el modelo editorial de publicaciones científico-académicas y las condiciones del mercado laboral de las antropologías en la región. Además, propongo para la discusión que la creciente privatización del conocimiento obstaculiza las posibilidades de escribir y teorizar y que los colegios profesionales podrían tener un rol más activo para encaminarnos en una ruta que nos permita superar los retos colectivamente.

    n this article I examine challenges and difficulties in the writing and theorizing in Latin America, which result from the attachment to ideal models of doing anthropology and being anthropologists. To develop my proposal I emphasize the current disconnection between professional practice, the editorial model of scientific-academic publications and the conditions of the labour market for anthropologies in the region. In addition, I propose for the discussion that the increasing privatization of knowledge hinders the possibilities of writing and theorizing and that professional associations could play a more active role in leading us on a path that allows us to overcome these challenges collectively.
