  • Resumen
    • As the closing article of the Special Issue of TRR,‘Vulnerabilities and Viabilities in Tourism Studies’,the paper takes each one of the articles in the issue as reference and looks in them at concurrences and diffractions concerning claims of vulnerability and viability proposals for the field of tourism studies. The paper problematizes current practices of tourism research, and focuses on the vulnerability of tourism scholarship; post disciplinarity in tourism studies; onto-ethico-epistemological enrichments for the field and futuring as worldmaking in the search of new viabilities. As a result, the meaning and placement of the field’s vulnerability is overturned and new viabilities for a ‘more-than-tourism’ field of tourism studies are proposed.
