    Algunos restos del edificio GHJ de la Cité Balzac descansan, en el taller del arquitecto y artista Daniel Purroy, custodiados como parte de un proyecto artístico expuesto en la Nuit Blanche de 2013 en París. Elementos de su fachada prefabricada y algunos escombros evocan, por un lado, el origen racionalista del inmueble, tan anónimo como las siglas con las que fue bautizado; por otro, y a través de restos de diferentes papeles decorativos que adornaron su interior, son muestra de la personal vida de cada uno de sus moradores. Muchos de ellos contemplaron en 2012 el derribo del edificio en el que habían pasado parte de sus vidas. El artículo relata la vida de este edificio que superó su propia desaparición y cuyos restos fueron parte de una obra artística colaborativa en la que sus últimos moradores tuvieron un papel protagonista.

    Some remains of the GHJ building in Cité Balzac rest in the studio of the architect and artist Daniel Purroy, preserved as part of an artistic project exhibited at the 2013 Nuit Blanche in Paris. Elements of its prefabricated façade and pieces of debris evoke, on the one hand, the rationalist origin of the building, as anonymous as the acronym with which it was baptised; and on the other, through the remains of different decorative papers that adorned its interior, they reveal the personal life of each of its inhabitants. In 2012, many of them witnessed the demolition of the building in which they had spent part of their lives. The article recounts the life of this building which overcame its own disappearance and whose remains were part of a collaborative artistic work in which its last inhabitants played a leading role.
