Resumen de Deus, uma atenção: Simone Weil e a busca do sagrado como gesto ético-político

O presente estudo discute em que medida a relação com o sagrado potencializa o elo ético-político do ser no mundo. A partir da indissociabilidade entre a experiência de vida e a obra de Simone Weil, pergunta por uma atenção à graça divina que possibilite intermediar o sentir e o agir e consolide a atitude insurgente frente à barbárie do mundo moderno. Apresenta a hipótese de uma experiência atencional que é, ao mesmo tempo, familiarização da consciência com a beleza das formas da natureza, afirmação da pluralidade e resguardo de um ethos de amor e paz. “Só a atenção religiosa é a atenção plena”, afirma Simone Weil. Desta perspectiva, o estudo desenvolve a ideia de que a oração e a atenção constituem a mesma faceta de um desejo de encontro com o sagrado: a fortuna de tomar a contradição como elemento divino, a graça de sintonizar transcendência e afirmação da vida, na compaixão e no significado de amor ao próximo.
Abstract: The present study discusses the extent to which the relationship with the sacred enhances the ethical-political bond of being in the world. From the indissociability between the life experience and the work of Simone Weil, it seeks to ask for an attention to divine grace that makes it possible to mediate feeling and acting and consolidates the insurgent attitude towards the barbarism of the modern world. It presents the hypothesis of an attentional experience that is, at the same time, familiarization of the conscience with the beauty of the forms of nature, affirmation of plurality, and protection of an ethos of love and peace. “Only religious attention is mindfulness”, says Simone Weil. From this perspective, the study seeks to develop the idea that prayer and attention constitute the same facet of a desire to encounter the sacred: the fortune of taking contradiction as a divine element, the grace of tuning into transcendence and affirmation of life, in compassion and the meaning of love for others.
