  Se propone una lectura material del objeto Semanario musical. Autógrafos. Fotografías, un álbum compuesto por Isidora Zegers con documentos reunidos por ella a lo largo de más de cuarenta años. A partir de la revisión de las huellas materiales del trabajo desplegado sobre su archivo y el objeto mismo, se plantea que en el espacio íntimo de este álbum, Zegers se presentó como artista cabal, desafiando el marco sexo-género imperante que la limitaba a ser una aficionada y agente cultural, por medio de sus redes y su salón.

  This essay posits a material reading of theSemanario musical. Autógrafos. Fotografías, an album composed byIsidora Zegers from documents she collected over more than forty years. By observing the material traces of the work deployed on her archive and in the composition of the object itself, we propose that Zegerspresented herself as a complete artist. Thus, in the intimate space of this album, she challenged the prevailingsex-gender framework that limited her to being an amateur and cultural agent, through her networks and hersalon.
