  • The text proposes some considerations regarding the First Report on the territorial network for the protection of minors and vulnerable persons released by the Italian Bishops’ Conference on 17 November 2022. While almost all Italian dioceses have a diocesan service for the protection of minors, mainly dedicated to raising awareness and training on the issue of violence and abuse in the ecclesial community, not all of them register the presence of a Listening Centre where victims or those on their behalf can turn as a first contact to report a case or receive specific information. The Report analyses this network, its members and its aims and is the first in a series that will be published annually
