Resumen de Iglesia del Monasterio de San Vicente do Pino: hallazgos y conservación

  Entre 2019 y 2021 el Instituto del Patrimonio Cultural de España (IPCE) abordó la conservación y restauración de pinturas murales, revestimientos históricos, retablo pétreo y retablo mayor del Monasterio lucense de San Vicente Do Pino en Monforte de Lemos. A las dificultades intrínsecas de una actuación de esta magnitud se añaden nuevos hallazgos y los imponderables debidos a la pandemia de COVID-19.

  Between 2019 and 2021, the Spanish Cultural Heritage Institute undertook the conservation and restoration of mural paintings, historic cladding, stone altarpiece and main altarpiece of the Monastery of San Vicente Do Pino in Monforte de Lemos, Lugo. In addition to the intrinsic difficulties of an action of this magnitude, new findings and the imponderables of the COVID-19 have been added.
