Caracterización de la oferta turística y zonificación en la parroquia de Pacto, Ecuador

    El estudio tuvo como objetivo realizar la caracterización la oferta turística y proponer una zonificación para la parroquia rural de Pacto, se partió del estudio de documentos de planificación a nivel nacional y con el fin de conocer la oferta turística se llevó a cabo un estudio exploratorio, descriptivo, cualitativo y una revisión de literatura, también se hizo uso de varias técnicas, posteriormente se realizó un trabajo de campo que consistió en identificar, inventariar y jerarquizar cada uno de los atractivos de la parroquia que presentan condiciones para el desarrollo turístico clasificando los atractivos según el Sistema de Estados Americanos. Para el levantamiento de la infraestructura turística se utilizó fichas de registro con una adaptación a las propuestas por Quito Turismo para caracterizar en fichas separadas los atractivos, equipamientos de alimentación y de hospedaje. A través del Sistema de Información Geográfica (ARCGIS), se georeferenciaron 34 atractivos turísticos, 7 restaurantes, 32 fincas, 27 cascadas y 15 equipamientos para hospedaje. Por último, se ponderó la infraestructura, entendida como la dotación de bienes y servicios con las que cuenta un país, que puede actuar como condicionante en el desarrollo turístico y limitar su potencial. Los resultados arrojaron 61 atractivos turísticos más cinco reservas naturales. Se identificaron cuatro unidades y seis tipos de zonas que abarcan espacios geográficos de desarrollo turístico hasta espacios de protección. Se concluye que es vital mejorar la planta turística instaurada así como proponer emprendimientos que sean coherentes con las potencialidades y restricciones del territorio.

    The objective of the study was to carry out the characterization of the tourist offer and propose a zoning for the rural parish of Pacto based on the revision of the planning documents at national level and to study the tourist offer a study was carried out. An exploratory, descriptive, qualitative and literature review was carried out with the use of various techniques, then a field work was carried out that consists of identifying, inventorying and classifying the movements that present conditions for the development of tourism by classifying the selective ones according to The system of America States for the lifting of the tourist infrastructure there are registration cards with an adaptation to the Quito Tourism poposals to characterize the food and accommodation equipment in separate sheets. Through the Geographic Information system (ARCGIS), 34 tourist attractions, 7 restaurants, 32 farms, 27 waterfalls and 15 equipment for accommodation were georeferenced. Finally, he considered the infrastructure, understood as the provision of goods and services with the country`s account, which can act as a conditioner in tourism development and limit its potential.

    The results yielded 61 tourist destinations plus five nature reserves. It is possible to identify four units and six types of areas that cover geographical areas of tourism development to protection spaces. It is concluded that it is vital to improve the established tourism plant, as well as propose companies that are consistent with the potential and restrictions of the territory.
