  El artículo aborda una reflexión teórica, esbozando una tenue revisión histórica y contextual sobre el conocimiento humano, su producción y validación en el contexto de la modernidad occidental. En los vericuetos del texto se aborda la disputa de la sistematización de experiencias y su sinuoso camino para ser considerada como un proceso válido y validado para la generación de conocimientos en las ciencias sociales aplicadas y la intervención social. En una apuesta por la apertura epistemológica se invita a escrudiñar la sistematización como proceso intelectual y político capaz de construir objetos sociales de conocimiento, por vía de la documentalidad y el archivo. Finalmente, se invita a distinguir y articular sistematización e investigación, en el marco del Trabajo Social contemporáneo.

  The article aborded a theoretical reflection, outlining a tenuous historical and contextual review of human knowledge, its production and validation in the context of Western modernity. In the twists and turns of the text, the dispute of the systematization of experiences and its winding path to be considered as a valid and validated process for the generation of knowledge in the applied social sciences and social intervention is addressed. In a commitment to epistemological openness, systematization is invited to be scrutinized as an intellectual and political process capable of constructing social objects of knowledge, through documentality and archive. Finally, it is invited to distinguish and articulate systematization and research, within the framework of contemporary Social Work.
