Resumen de Selección y orientación de talentos deportivos en la provincia de Cañar

  En Ecuador, en el campo del deporte, aún existen limitaciones relacionadas con la detección, identificación y selección de talentos deportivos. El objetivo de la investigación fue aplicar la batería de test de FEDENADOR, mediante las mediciones antropométricas y test de eficiencia física a niños de 8-12 años de la Unidad Educativa 16 de abril, para identificar a posibles talentos deportivos, al mismo tiempo orientarlos a la práctica deportiva. La investigación fue no experimental-transversal, de alcance descriptiva y enfoque cuantitativo. Estas pruebas se aplicaron a 200 estudiantes (niños, niñas y adolescentes), 96 de sexo femenino y 104 de sexo masculino, los datos fueron analizados mediante el programa SPSS versión 24, logrando conseguir los siguientes resultados: deportes colectivos (fútbol, baloncesto, natación, vóleibol y atletismo) 31,5 %, además en halterofilia, levantamiento de potencia 28,5 %, finalmente sujetos más destacados en atletismo y deportes de combate es de un 40%. Se identificó a posibles talentos deportivos en la unidad educativa, de manera que con los resultados obtenidos se logró orientar a la práctica deportiva de aquellos talentos predominantes a una disciplina.

  In Ecuador, in the field of sports, there are still limitations related to the detection, identification and selection of sports talents. The objective of the research was to apply the FEDENADOR test battery, through anthropometric measurements and physical efficiency tests, to children aged 8-12 years from the 16 de Abril Educational Unit, to identify possible sporting talents, at the same time guide them to sports practice. The research was non-experimental-cross-sectional, descriptive in scope and quantitative in focus. These tests were applied to 200 students (boys, girls and adolescents), 96 female and 104 male, the data were analyzed using the SPSS version 24 program, achieving the following results: team sports (football, basketball, swimming , volleyball and athletics) 31.5%, also in weightlifting, power lifting 28.5%, finally more outstanding subjects in athletics and combat sports is 40%. Possible sports talents were identified in the educational unit, so that with the results obtained it was possible to guide the sports practice of those predominant talents in a discipline.
