Inclusión de harina de nacedero y su efecto sobre los parámetros productivos y bienestar animal en cerdos en fase de engorde

    El objetivo de esta investigación fue evaluar la inclusión de diferentes niveles de harina de nacedero (Trichanthera gigantea) y su efecto en los parámetros productivos y bienestar animal en la dieta de cerdos en fase de engorde. Se consideró a cada cerdo hembra en fase de crecimiento del cruce Landrace x Pietrain como unidad experimental distribuidos en 4 tratamientos y 6 repeticiones, dando una totalidad de 24 unidades observacionales. Se utilizaron 4 tratamientos con niveles de 0, 2, 4 y 6% harina de nacedero. La variabilidad de las respuestas medibles con el efecto de tratamientos se estudió mediante un análisis de varianza, mediante el uso de la prueba de Tukey al 5%. Los datos se analizaron en el paquete estadístico InfoStat (2020). Finalmente, los resultados obtenidos fueron tabulados y graficados de acuerdo al aporte que presenten a la investigación mediante el uso de Microsoft Excel 2016. Como resultados se obtuvo que no existe diferencia estadística (p>0,05) en los parámetros productivos en las semanas de tratamiento, sin embargo, aunque la conversión alimenticia no fue significativa, el tratamiento 3 (harina de nacedero al 6 %) mostró la mayor eficiencia de esta con un valor de 2,04, así mismo este tratamiento generó la mayor rentabilidad con $0,40 por cada dólar invertido. Como conclusión la inclusión de diferentes niveles (2%, 4% y 6%) de harina de (Trichanthera gigantea) en la dieta diaria de cerdos en la fase de engorde genera estadísticamente similares parámetros productivos al tratamiento testigo.

    The objective of this research was to evaluate the inclusion of different levels of hatchery meal (Trichanthera gigantea) and its effect on productive parameters and animal welfare in the diet of pigs in the fattening phase. Each female pig in the growth phase of the Landrace x Pietrain cross was considered as an experimental unit distributed in 4 treatments and 6 repetitions, giving a total of 24 observational units. Four treatments were used with levels of 0, 2, 4 and 6% hatchery flour.

    The variability of the measurable responses with the treatment effect was studied through an analysis of variance, using the 5% Tukey test. The data were analyzed in the InfoStat (2020) statistical package. Finally, the results obtained were tabulated and graphed according to the contribution they presented to the research through the use of Microsoft Excel 2016. As results, it was obtained that there is no statistical difference (p>0.05) in the productive parameters in the weeks of treatment, however, although the feed conversion was not significant, treatment 3 (6% hatchery flour) showed the highest efficiency with a value of 2.04, likewise this treatment generated the highest profitability with $0.40 for every dollar invested. In conclusion, the inclusion of different levels (2%, 4% and 6%) of (Trichanthera gigantea) flour in the daily diet of pigs in the fattening phase generates statistically similar productive parameters to the control treatment..
