    This article focuses on a specimen of Gaulish coinage “with cross”, whose stylization, stemming from an evolution of the series towards abstraction, can be categorized as what P.-M. Duval refers to as a 'graphical delirium'. Far from being a mere artistic whimsy, this coin is actually governed by a complex and thoughtful underlying geometrization, contributing to a more general ternary symbolism in service of a representation of the divine.

    Cet article se concentre sur un exemplaire de monnayage gaulois à la croix, dont la stylisation, issue d'une évolution de la série vers l'abstraction, peut relever de ce que nomme P.-M. Duval comme un "délire graphique". Cette monnaie, loin d'être une simple divagation artistique est en réalité régie par une géométrisation sous-jacente complexe et réfléchie, participant à une symbolique ternaire plus générale, au service d'une représentation du divin.
