  En esta breve aportación se presentan dos pasajes de viajeros judíos italianos que, en el siglo XV, marcharon hacia el Mediterráneo oriental en su viaje a Tierra Santa. En su ruta hicieron escala en diferentes lugares, muchos de ellos de cultura arabo-musulmana. El contraste entre el refinado contexto cristiano de la Italia renacentista del que procedían con el de la sociedad judeo-árabe de Egipto o de Tierra Santa dará lugar a curiosos comentarios como los que aquí se recogen.

  In this short contribution, a couple of Italian-Jewish travelers’ passages which, in the XV century, set forth to the East Mediterranean in their journey to the Holy Land. On the way, they berthed in different places, many of them of Arabian-Muslim culture. The contrast between the polished Christian milieu of the Renaissance Italy they came from with that of Jewish-Arabian in Egypt and the Holy Land as well brought about funny remarks as the ones displayed hereafter.
