  • Resumen
    • This paper aims to show some general considerations about burnout syndrome like a labor psychopathology approached from psychosociology. We display here part of our study based on considering nine cohorts (2008/2016), tested from a methodological triangulation which includes application of MBI-ES as a psycho-technical tool, and the analysis of observations and interviews based on the dimensions of the Areas of Worklife Survey (AWS).Considerations were developed on the three main dimensions that Maslach points out as the main ones to measure burnout syndrome: exhaustion, cynicism, and low performance, in order to then consider the AWS Value dimension as critical in the qualitative analysis. The Workload (Workload) and Control Locus (Control) dimensions were also important when understanding the working life we analyzed as part of the predictors of the syndrome. The rest of the dimensions of the AWS were taken into account, but they had no weight in all the interviews. The Justice dimension (Fairness) was the most cited. Reward and Community for their part were the least mentioned areas. At the same time, we made a qualitative evaluation of the interviews carried out interpreting the ability of the groups and work teams of the organizations, understanding that this can be a predictor of workloads. Finally, we expose some general observations about the schools we have investigated, and we post some suggestions to carry out plans of prevention at a macro-political and institutional level, considering the three dimensions of the syndrome.
