El aprendizaje de un instrumento musical implica, además de una preparación técnica, un conocimiento del lenguaje musical para que dicho aprendizaje sea completo. Ante la separación existente entre elcomponente técnico y la comprensión del lenguaje durante el aprendizaje de un instrumento, la Metodología IEM permite llevar a cabo el desarrollo de una interpretación basada en la comprensión de lamúsica. Esta comprensión facilita al intérprete poder expresarse con una mayor libertad, basándoseen la herramienta del análisis y utilizando el oído como parte activa del proceso. En este aprendizaje,resulta pertinente secuenciar de manera adecuada una serie de actividades que permitan este desarrollo. Para ello, se han diseñado ejercicios basados en esta metodología destinados al primer cursode la asignatura de piano, tomando como referencia la puesta en práctica con un alumno real de estenivel, a fin de que puedan servir de ayuda a quienes deseen poner en práctica esta metodología ensu aula

The learning of a musical instrument implies, in addition to a technical preparation, a knowledge of themusical language for such learning to be complete. Given the existing separation between the technical component and the understanding of the language during the learning of an instrument, the IEMMethodology allows the development of an interpretation based on the understanding of the music.This understanding allows the interpreter to express himself with greater freedom, based on the toolof analysis and using the ear as an active part of the process. In this learning process, it is pertinent toadequately sequence a series of activities that allow this development. To this end, a series of exercises based on this methodology have been designed for the first year of the piano course, taking as areference the implementation with a real student of this level, so that they can be of help to those whowish to implement this methodology in their classroom.
