Resumen de Prevenção à violência contra a mulher: uma experiência de um grupo reflexivo de homens no Brasil e a experiência de Portugal na ressocialização

  Understanding and explaining the phenomenon of violence against women is determined as the central core of this research. This atrocity reaches all social segments, regardless of their origin, marital status and education, where the adequate treatment, given in its processing by the Public Prosecutor’s Office, the Judiciary Police and support agencies, helps the victim to overcome obstacles, to break the emotional bond with the aggressor and, in some cases, makes it possible to rebuild the family unit.

  It begins with the analysis of the legal- penal treatment and the domestic and family conflict. After that, we address the resocialization programs in activity in Portugal and the experience of a men’s reflection group in Brazil.

  Finally, in light of this new approach, it is concluded that the programs analyzed result in additional forms of empowerment for the victim of domestic violence, with the possibility of reestablishing the family unit.

  Compreender e explicar o fenômeno da violência contra a mulher determina- se como o núcleo central desta presente investigação. Esta atrocidade atinge todos os seguimentos sociais, independentemente de sua origem, estado civil e escolaridade, onde o tratamento adequado, dado no seu processamento pelo Ministério Público, pela Polícia Judiciária e pelos Órgãos de apoio, ajudam a vítima a superar os obstáculos, a romper o vínculo emocional com o agressor e, em alguns casos, possibilita a reconstrução da unidade familiar. Parte- se da análise do tratamento jurídico- penal e do conflito doméstico e familiar. Em sucessivo, aborda- se os programas de ressocialização em atividade em Portugal e a experiência de um grupo reflexivo de homens no Brasil.

  Por fim, à luz dessa nova abordagem, conclui- se que os programas analisados resultam de formas adicionais de empoderamento da vítima de violência doméstica, com possibilidade de restabelecimento da unidade familiar.
