La estadística en la investigación en modelos de transporte

    El presente artículo tiene como objetivo analizar la incidencia estadística en la investigación en modelos de transporte, debido a que se busca la optimización de redes para establecer la mejor estrategia para hacer llegar la mercancía desde el lugar de existencias hasta los consumidores, alcanzando la satisfacción del cliente a un costo bajo. Por tal motivo es importante recalcar que los problemas relacionados con el transporte son a nivel global y cada vez más serios, en los cuales interfieren factores como la congestión, la accidentalidad, las afecciones medioambientales, calentamiento ambiental, entre otros.

    Otro factor que es importante tomar en consideración, es la evolución tecnológica, que ha permitido la creación de nuevos medios de transporte, pero, debido al crecimiento y desarrollo económico a nivel mundial, no se ha podido satisfacer la demanda, llegando inclusive a colapsar dichos medios que están a disposición de las empresas y organizaciones que buscan establecer la mejor logística de transporte, que va directamente relacionado con la eficiencia de la empresa, esto se debe a que este proceso es el que garantiza que la mercancía llegue al consumidor en las condiciones, locación y tiempos acordados.

    Cabe mencionar, que actualmente el estudio estadístico juega un papel fundamental en la investigación en modelos de transporte, debido a que se debe llevar un control permanente de la evolución y avance de los procesos para el desarrollo de los modelos de transporte que benefician a mediano y largo plazo a las organizaciones que requieren de este servicio y al consumidor final.
