    La Retórica jurídica se ha empleado siempre como un arma argumentativa cuyo conocimiento aporta al jurista una especial capacidad de comunicación y recurso discursivo para su ejercicio, sea teórico o práctico. No es una herramienta exclusivamente de nuestros días, sino que tiene una amplia y profunda perspectiva histórica, puesto que hunde sus raíces en las antiguas Grecia y Roma y está presente a lo largo de las épocas Medieval y Moderna; asimismo sus aplicaciones perduran hasta la actualidad. Esta perspectiva histórica es la que se pretende aportar en el presente trabajo, desde la experiencia de las Ciencias humanas y jurídico-sociales.

    Legal Rhetoric has always been used as an argumentative weapon, the knowledge of which provides the jurist with a special communication capacity and discursive resource for its exercise, whether theoretical or practical. It is not exclusively a current tool, but rather it has a broad and deep historical perspective, since it has its roots in ancient Greece and Rome and is present throughout the Medieval eval and Modern eras; likewise, its applications endure to this day. This historical perspective is what we intend to provide in this work, from the experience of the human and legal-social Sciences.
