Percepciones sobre el ejercicio de derechos y obligaciones del personal docente en la unidad educativa Santo Domingo de los Colorados - Ecuador

    Este trabajo se desarrolló para describir las percepciones respecto del ejercicio de derechos y obligaciones de los docentes en la Unidad Educativa Santo Domingo de los Colorados, en el período lectivo 2023 – 2024. Esta institución es de sostenimiento fiscal, se ubica en la Provincia de Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas, Ecuador. Es una investigación de enfoque cuantitativo, de corte transversal, nivel descriptivo y modalidad de campo, bibliográfico y documental. Los datos recopilados a través de una encuesta aplicada a 100 docentes, fueron analizados con estadísticos descriptivos para saber la distribución de las respuestas y arribar a conclusiones válidas. Se encuentra que hay una distribución en cierta medida equitativa entre los niveles alto, medio y bajo sobre la calidad del ambiente laboral; altos porcentajes de sujetos que hacen uso de su derecho a permisos y licencias, en niveles bajos; altos porcentajes que dicen hacer de sus derechos a capacitación y estudios; lo cual, es similar en cuanto a apoyo y bienestar; y en la gestión administrativa, el mayor porcentaje considera que es de alto nivel. Asimismo, hay una distribución casi equitativa respecto de la planificación señalando que es nivel alto, medio y bajo, algo similar sucede con el cumplimiento de normas; la abrumadora mayoría considera un nivel bajo en cuanto a la atención y buen trato dentro del plantel, muy similar a lo que piensan sobre el respeto al prójimo. Tras el cálculo del coeficiente de Pearson se encuentra una correlación positiva fuerte bidireccional, por lo que, cuando una variable aumenta la otra aumenta también y viceversa.

    This work was developed to describe the perceptions regarding the exercise of rights and obligations of teachers in the Santo Domingo de los Colorados Educational Unit, in the 2023 - 2024 school year. This institution is fiscally supported, it is located in the Province of Santo Domingo of the Tsáchilas, Ecuador. It is a research with a quantitative approach, cross-sectional, descriptive level and field, bibliographic, and documentary modality. The data collected through a survey applied to 100 teachers were analyzed with descriptive statistics to know the distribution of the responses and reach valid conclusions. It is found that there is a somewhat equitable distribution between the high, medium, and low levels of the quality of the work environment; high percentages of subjects that make use of their right to permissions and licenses, at low levels; high percentages who say they make  their rights to training and studies; which is similar in terms of support and well-being; and in administrative management, the largest percentage considers it to be of a high level. Likewise, there is an almost equal distribution regarding planning, indicating that it is high, medium, and low level, something similar happens with compliance with standards; The overwhelming majority consider a low level of attention and good treatment within the school, very similar to what they think about respect for others. After calculating the Pearson coefficient, a strong bidirectional positive variation is found, so when one variable increases the other also increases and vice versa.
