Resumen de Itinerarios hacia la emancipación de la juventud extutelada: Elementos clave

  Las personas jóvenes tuteladas y extuteladas son un colectivo especialmente vulnerable dentro de la población juvenil en España y, por lo tanto, un colectivo susceptible de encontrarse en situación de “sinhogarismo juvenil”.

  En el presente artículo se aborda el análisis de los itinerarios de emancipación de la juventud extutelada, enmarcando su situación dentro del contexto de la juventud española, y muy especialmente, como esas circunstancias especiales que determinan su situación y realidad, inciden en su obligada y prematura emancipación. Por todo ello, hablaremos de itinerarios de emancipación y del sistema de apoyos necesario que se requiere para acompañarlos: los ámbitos y programas de apoyo y veremos también las debilidades del marco normativo que debería garantizarlos. Finalmente, y de forma breve, también mencionaremos algunos enfoques relevantes a la hora de diseñar los sistemas de apoyo al colectivo, así como los principales actores implicados en este proceso.

  Care leavers are a particularly vulnerable group within the youth population in Spain and, therefore, a group likely to find themselves in a situation of “youth homelessness”. This article deals with the analysis of the itineraries of care leavers, framing their situation within the context of the Spanish youth, and especially, how those special circumstances that determine their situation and reality affect their forced and premature emancipation.

  Therefore, we will talk about itineraries of emancipation and the necessary support system that is required to accompany them: the areas and programmes of support and we will also see the weaknesses of the regulatory framework that should guarantee them. Finally, and briefly, we will also mention some relevant approaches when designing support systems for the collective, as well as the main actors involved in this process.
