This article explores Olga Orozco's late poetry in the light of rationalist secularisation and its typification as an epoch without aura. In parallel to the famous Benjaminian conceptualisation, it studies here the particular treatment and formalisation of the symptomatic in Orozco's poetic text. Then, the consequences of such an articulation would allow us to scrutinise a way out of the metaphysics of the aura, transforming the artistic object into a secularised trace or residue.
