POLITICAL ACTS AND FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS: A COMPLEX AND QUITE A BIT SUFFERED RELATIONSHIP After having noted the uncertainties that currently characterize the notions of political act and fundamental law and accompany the most salient events, the article studies the guarantees relating to a conduct of balancing operations between public rights and interests, including at the level of inter- legal systems relations. It therefore takes place to examine the main orientations expressed by the national and European Courts, noting how the material area of the unquestionability of political acts has overall been contracted, although to date some of its portions are immune from the control of judges
