    The “International Electoral Observatory” is a scientific research project of CEJEA (Center for Legal, Economic and Environmental Studies) and as such financed by the FCT, under the research line “Transnational Public Law” and in the Research Group “Public Law and Political Theory”. The coordinator of the Project is Manuel Monteiro (PhD) and currently comprises 24 researchers, 5 of which are integrated researchers (PhD) and 19 collaborating researchers. The project is part of the scientific domain of Political Science and Constitutional Law, in the general area of Electoral Law and Political Representation intersecting with the specific areas of electoral systems, party systems and government systems. The methodology used is reflected in the selection of electoral acts carried out in the States selected below and the subsequent study of electoral systems and party systems with the support of thematic bibliography. The research methodology emphasizes group work with the specific collaboration, whenever possible, of researchers from the States under study.

    O “Observatório Eleitoral Internacional” é um projeto de investigação científica do CEJEA (Centro de Estudos Jurídicos, Económicos e Ambientais) e como tal financiado pela FCT, inserido na linha de investigação “Direito Público Transnacional” e no Grupo de Investigação “Direito Público e Teoria Política”. O coordenador do Projeto é o Doutor Manuel Monteiro e agrega presentemente 24 investigadores, sendo 5 investigadores integrados e 19 investigadores colaboradores (doutorandos, mestres, mestrandos, licenciados e finalistas dos cursos de Direito e de Relações Internacionais). O projeto insere-se no domínio científico da Ciência Política e do Direito Constitucional, na área geral do Direito Eleitoral e Representação Política e cruza com as áreas específicas dos sistemas eleitorais, sistemas partidários e sistemas de governo. A metodologia utilizada traduz-se na seleção dos atos eleitorais realizados nos Estados abaixo selecionados e posterior investigação com particular incidência nos sistemas eleitorais e nos sistemas partidários com consulta de bibliografia temática. A metodologia de investigação valoriza o trabalho de grupo com a específica colaboração, sempre que possível, de investigadores dos Estados objeto de estudo.
