    El presente estudio aborda la naturaleza jurídica del embrión humano en la codificación civil nacional, partiendo de la consideración del código velezano, observando en sus disposiciones la impronta de su formación romanista bajo el tamiz de la escuela de las pandectas. Hasta su recepción y tratamiento por el Código Civil y Comercial de la Nación, atendiendo las aristas prestadas por organismos internacionales y el mismo legislador a través de normas que erosionan la centralidad del cuerpo en particular, decidiendo sobre la opción de interrupción del embarazo.

    The present study addresses the legal nature of the human embryo in the national civil codification, starting from the consideration of the Veleza code, observing in its provisions the imprint of its Romanist formation under the sieve of the school of pandects. Until its reception and treatment by the Civil and Commercial Code of the Nation, taking into account the aspects provided by international organizations and the legislator himself through regulations that erode the centrality of the body in particular, deciding on the option of terminating the pregnancy.
